Yes Body is a space where we say yes to our embodied wholeness, giving ourselves permission to explore what wholeness means. We acknowledge the gifts, the stories, the curiosities, and the wounds our bodies carry, and we use these ingredients as fuel to move and dance into deeper layers of self-empowerment and grace.
Yes Body travels across the United States and beyond, teaching various movement courses and hosting community events. Yes Body’s mission is to foster authentic expression through relentless self-progression and the pursuit of fearlessness.
testimonial
As I began semi-regular classes and 1:1 training with Millie over the past year, I’ve experienced the most profound & impactful developments yet in my life as a movement artist. Millie’s embodied and intuitive wisdom allowed me to awaken and deepen my metacognitive awareness of my body, breath and voice.
Through working with Millie I learned how to start efficiently building and consistently maintaining physical fitness strength 2+ years postpartum; while evolving my capacity, confidence & courage as a creator and improv dance instructor.
Millie is an exceptionally skilled facilitator in any group size or setting; she safely and gracefully guides students through exercises in movement, voice and expression while always creating belonging within diverse communities of all abilities and demographics.
As a Black & multiply-neurodivergent dancer in Vermont, I am thrilled to connect with artists, mentors and facilitators who prioritize equity and accessibility the way Millie does so intentionally - it makes ALL the difference. Millie’s love and gratitude for dance and her students is abundant; her joy and passion in any movement space is truly inspiring. - Taylor Barnes
